We sell banks to many different animal groups. Some create a “necklace” which they put around the neck of the cat or dog with their name on it. Some attach their logo decal. We also created an Artist Original piggy bank that says “Please Feed Me” with paw prints on it. The most successful idea has been the stuffed animal banks. The cat “meows” and the dog “barks” when coins are inserted. The feedback has been that the same location with the stuffed animal brings in more money. The thought being that kids like to hear the sound the bank makes when coins are inserted – so more money is inserted! There are so many ideas. Most of these organizations had been using glass jars or a “tired” bank. From our feedback the donations increase fairly dramatically when the new banks became the collection jars.
