Since I am a Rotarian, I was pleased when an incoming president of a California Rotary Club gave a piggy bank to every member. Rotary presidents change the first of July. The new president had every member take the bank home with them. Some members put it on their bedroom dresser. Some members put it on the counter in their business. Every 3 months the members brought their piggy bank back to the meeting and emptied it’s contents, then took it back with them. The money raised in the piggy banks is to fund a specific project in their community. Last I heard thousands of dollars had been collected using the pigs. And, the members all loved the idea. Another Rotary president who is a realtor used the Victorian House Bank on our site.
