This color of pale aqua is very mellow and soothing. It makes me think of one of the beautiful shades of blue one sees in tropical waters. They have a satin, not a glossy finish.
March birthstone is the Aquamarine. Also, the official state gem of Colorado and Missouri is the Aquamarine, "water of the sea". It is a transparent variety of beryl, having a delicate blue or turquoise color, suggestive of the tint of seawater.
