The plush exterior of the bear is so soft and cuddly. The way you make the bear growl is to drop a coin into the money slot located on the top of the head. The coin drops through a plastic tube located in the middle of the head into the belly. The clear hard plastic belly is the bank. You will be able to see the coins as they collect in the bank - from the front or the back of the bear. From the back of the bear, you can push the fabric in a little to access the plastic plug which allows for withdrawals.
