This medieval money bank was inspired by the Jester of ages past.
The jester came into popularity in the Middle Ages. Jesters frequently wore brightly colored clothes and eccentric hats in a motley pattern.
Their hats, sometimes called the cap ’n’ bells, cockscomb, were especially distinctive; made of cloth, they were floppy with three points each of which had a jingle bell at the end. The three points of the hat represent the donkey's ears and tail worn by jesters in earlier times. This money bank is hand painted on resin. Dimensions: 6-3/4"H x 5 1/2" x 5 3/4"
