A butterfly piggy bank that utilizes the hand print of a child. A novel idea that is exclusively ours. Enlarge the top photo and you can see the fingers and palm of the child's hand print painted inside the wings of the butterfly. The thumb is incorporated into the body of the butterfly.
Our artist, Therese, paints children's faces at San Diego Zoo. The hand print on a piggy bank is her creation. This talented artist began with a basic 7 inch classic ceramic pink piggy bank and then used the child's hand print to create this piggy bank. The butterfly is painted on the pig's right side and we would personalize with the child's name on the pig's left side which currently is plain.
