This Cord Bank is fantastic! The Cord is a very expensive automobile to buy today. Cord was the brand name of a United States automobile, manufactured by the Auburn Automobile Company from 1929 through 1932 and again in 1936 and 1937. The design of the Cord 810/812 remains the most distinctive of the 20th century. In 1996, American Heritage magazine proclaimed the Cord 810 sedan "The Single Most Beautiful American Car." Imagine getting an award in 1996 for a car made 60 years prior!
The body design of the Cord 810 was the work of designer Gordon M. Buehrig and his team. Nearly devoid of chrome, the new car was so low it required no running boards. Pontoon fenders were featured with headlights that disappeard into the fenders via dashboard hand cranks; so were a wraparound grille and concealed gas hatch were featured. Note that this bank has the hidden headlights and the coils for the V-8 engine. The Cord bank is also very low to the ground. This bank is a fun version of the old Cord.
The cow who is driving the Cord is pretty hot too. Hot pink sunglasses, gold earrings. A white cowboy hat with a pink ribbon and a hot pink bow around the neck lets us know that this cow is a hot babe. Made of resin. Personalization could easily be just beneath the money slot as seen in the bottom photo. Dimensions: 7"L x 6"H x 4 1/2"W
