When my Dad died, a friend gave me a poem, "Pennies from Heaven." I began to pick up every penny I saw lying on the ground. I find it amazing that when I'm most troubled or the most indecisive I always seem to find a penny. One day I got out of my car at the warehouse - with a major problem I had to address. I couldn't decide what to do. Twenty minutes later I went to get back in my car. There right next to the door were two pennies which were not there when I parked. My Dad was with me. I made the decision with what I perceived to be his help. I doubt if I'll ever throw one of "Dad's pennies" away; but I needed a place to keep them. So, this bank was designed for me. I hope it will be as meaningful to you as it is for me. Charles Mashburn, the author or the poem has emailed me with the story behind the poem he wrote. Created on a classic 7 inch ceramic piggy bank that has been painted a baby blue.
