How old should a child be when money education begins? The answer is THREE! We offer different educational banks for different age groups. This item is for the youngest - ages 3-7.

This educational bank has three triangular containers that are strapped together with an elastic band. There is a money slot on top of each container. SPEND, SHARE, SAVE. Once the child has saved enough to buy an item of their choice, you can remove the SPEND container and take it with you to the store. SHARE container can be taken to church, used for a tragedy like Katrina or used to help a friend or neighbor. SAVE is taken to a bank and added to the child's savings account.

The containers are easily removed then put back together. This is a very simple money management system. It was created for very young children between the ages of 3 and 7. If your child is older than this, choose a different item. If you are a grandparent, friend or neighbor, you could give the bank with a little money already in the containers.
